On Wednesday 3rd July 2019, we conducted a webinar with CFA Society's UK Branch. We briefly explain the buzzword – blockchain, how does it work and what issues it solves in the real world. We then move on to the specific application in the digitalisation of space using blockchain, with a focus on two implementations, namely carparking management and shipping container management.
Ultimately, the digitalisation process will transform commercial space into a commodity, which carries similar traits as any other commodities that are invested and traded today as a financial product without the need of physical delivery. We firmly believe this is the future of digitalised assets and it is what institutional investors will more and more be involved in.
